ALLIES

Allies_logo_REDMetro Arts continues to evolve in response to artists’ needs and in line with this, the Allies represents a commitment to assisting artists and collectives to present quality new independent work in which they maintain total creative control and ownership, with Metro Arts acting as the Presenting Partner. The program provides independent artists with the opportunity to affordably present their work in a professional setting on their own terms; a flexible program that can be shaped to meet the needs of the artist. Artists have access to presentation  opportunities of up to three weeks, programmed on an ongoing basis.

The Allies is open to practitioners in the performing, visual and interdisciplinary arts, music and all that sits in between. Self-funded new work; fresh from a fringe festival; currently on-tour; or experimenting with the intersection between art forms; the Allies offers artists the chance to tailor outcomes that directly respond to their needs.
