ASSUME PEOPLE LIKE YOU

Presented by CIRCFest22 Meanjin, Cluster Arts, and Melon the Human.

A Robot, an Alien and a Human – what could go wrong?

Remember when you could become friends by making eye contact on the playground? But when you grow up things get trickier. Now the word LIKE has become a vernacular for friendship, relationship or even social media validation. What happens when a Lonely Heart Human wants to be LIKED, but doesn’t know how to make friends?

Can a Robot be liked?

Can an Alien be a friend?

Perhaps it is easier to swipe right and just Assume People Like You.

THE LONG PIGS

THE LONG PIGS

THE LONG PIGS

Presented by CIRCFest22 Meanjin, Cluster Arts, and W3.

Horror meets hilarity! Join this underground clown cult for a spine-tingling original show that is hilariously dark and frighteningly funny.

Set in a rickety abattoir-shack, the Pigs are working hard on their latest obsession to rid the world of every last red-nose clown. However, all is not well. They are one nose short!

In a murky soup of distrust and suspicion, promises made are constantly broken and the gang ultimately turns on itself in a fatally funny and destructive climax.

Spine-tingling original theatre that is hilariously dark and frighteningly funny. Join this underground clown cult that audiences have been raving about.

★★★★ Herald Sun
“A dirty little masterpiece.”

Stage Whispers
“It’s not often in the theatre that you suddenly realise you are in the presence of creative genius.”
