ABOUT WEST END FILM FESTIVAL

For over 10 years we’ve presented quality annual programs of short films with a prize pool that’s grown since our humble beginnings.

Despite the short submissions period, Australian short film makers have stepped up to submit and we’re excited to offer you an exciting program of shorts and music videos!

WEFF was established in 2009 by a group of local film makers focused on supporting grassroots film makers, and continues to connect with this founding objective today. Forging relationships with local communities, and encouraging collaborations among artists, the festival highlights the importance of creativity and connection.

WEFF has grown to be one of Brisbane’s most loved film festivals, celebrating the community, culture, and diversity that is uniquely West End.
