Joseph is settling in over summer to work on a series of carpet based pictorial works. The imagery is focusing on the ongoing protests that are currently taking place in Portland, Oregon in the United States.

The works seek to express gratitude solidarity and confrontation and considers the fear of missing out through rendering loved ones and images from the protests as carpets.
