Screening at Metro Arts for one night only! Don’t miss the Australian premiere of The Final Interview by infamous underground horror director, Fred Vogel, creator of the August Underground Trilogy.
It will be followed by the world premiere of Shards, the debut feature film from Brisbane based director, Michael Riley, featuring performances by local talent Dean Mayer, Tahlia Jade, Darren Osmond, David Beamish and Colin Dixon. The director and some of the cast members will be present for an audience Q&A after the film. 
The Final Interview // 
A veteran newscaster desperate for ratings secures an interview with a mass murderer on death row the night before the man is set to be executed. What our newscaster thinks will be an easy ratings boost turns into a dangerous psychological game between two manipulative alpha males.
Shards //
The lives of several self-absorbed outcasts are thrown into chaos when two sadistic killers attempt to collect on a dead man’s debt to a temperamental drug dealer, setting off a chain reaction of betrayal and violence that will irreparably shatter the lives of all those involved.
