Give your 9-12 year old an unforgettable week of adventure, creativity, and fun with Theatre Residency Week! Led by a team of professional artists, this theatre immersion program will spark their imagination as they explore 11 different styles of theatre in a truly fun and interactive environment.
Each day is packed with exciting activities designed to encourage self-expression, build confidence, and inspire creativity. Here’s what’s in store for the week:
Day One – Fun & Games to Start! (Monday 9am-3pm)
From imaginative games to hilarious improvisations and fast-paced Theatre Sports, the stage comes alive! Your child will laugh, bond, and build their performance skills in this energy-filled day.
Day Two – The Magic of Masks (Tuesday 9am-3pm)
Discover the art of “Mask and Movement” through not one, not two, but THREE incredible mask styles! It’s all about expression and physical storytelling in this unforgettable day of theatre.
Day Three – Acting Unlimited (Wednesday 9am-3pm)
The spotlight awaits! This day shines a light on acting in three exciting forms: the street, the stage, and the screen. Your child will step into roles that open up their world to endless possibilities!
Day Four – Explore Theatre’s Boundless Forms (Thursday 9am-3pm)
A creative adventure across three dynamic theatre styles will leave your young actor inspired and energized. It’s all about discovery, experimentation, and unlocking potential!
Day Five – Puppetry & Story Magic (Friday 9am-3pm)
The final day is pure enchantment. Kids will design and create their own puppets, using them to tell beautiful stories that come straight from their imagination.
