This Spring, Metro Arts is excited to invite you and a friend for an exclusive dining experience with Wesley Enoch AM, to exchange stories, ideas and inspiration.

Don’t miss your chance to meet one of Australia’s greatest theatre legends  – and learn first hand about his inspiring journey, beginning right here at Metro Arts where he made his first impression with the Kooemba Jdarra produced premiere of The 7 Stages of Grieving in 1995.

ABOUT WESLEY

Influential, inspiring and a master of storytelling – Wesley is an internationally acclaimed playwright and artistic director from North Stradbroke Island-Minjerribah leading the conversation on Indigenous performing arts in Australia.

Wesley has written and directed award winning and iconic productions, such as The 7 Stages of Grieving (1994-1995), Black Diggers (2014) and Appropriate (2021) for the screen and stage.

Since 1994, Wesley has held numerous roles directed leading arts institutions including the Sydney Festival and Queensland Theatre Company  – and acted as a cultural consultant for the 2006 and 2018 Commonwealth Games earning him membership to the Order of Australia (AM) in 2020.

HOW TO PLACE YOUR BID

  • To secure your seat at the table, join our online auction from Friday, 1 September – Friday, 22 September.
  • To bid, you will need to set up an account at 32auctions – a secure online action site that is hosting the bidding for this exclusive experience. 
  • The highest bid will secure a dining experience for x2 with Wesley.

Online Bidding opens: 10am 1 September (AEST) and closes 22 September 3:00PM(AEST).

Money raised will go towards supporting the delivery of Metro Arts programs and services.
