The Deadly Theatre seeks to make and curate Sovereign First Nations art with deadly artists and a deadly community.
The Deadly Theatre, founded by Aidan Rowlingson and Alicia Melonie Jones, will be at Metro Arts creating a new Blak theatre work, providing professional performance training and hosting creative yarns.
As part of their residency co-founders Alicia Melonie Jones and Aidan Rowlingson will be host workshops for First Nations theatre makers and collaborators.
Metro Arts’ Company in Residence Program exists to provide vital resources to artists of all stages and skill levels – so they can continue to make work, and thrive, rather than just survive:
Support the future of Australian contemporary arts practice, now.
