Metro Arts is developing the future of Australian contemporary arts practice, now. Championing all contemporary art forms, the two core activities of the organisation are developing and co-presenting contemporary arts. Within our  venue is a team of creative professionals who are passionate about diverse contemporary art that makes your heart race and the hairs on your neck stand up.



Lead Producer (Performance) | Full-time | 37.5 hours per week
We are currently seeking a Lead Producer to provide producing, management and administrative support to identified projects from independent artists (companies, groups and/or individuals) from creative development through to full production and touring stage.

Thanks to the incredible support of The Ian Potter Foundation, we are excited to announce our new Emerging Producer Xchange program.

The flagship program will support six emerging producers, over 2021-2022, to participate in paid 10-month internships, working with two nationally-recognised multidisciplinary arts organisations. The host organisations are Metro Arts in Queensland and The Mill in South Australia.
