If you’re visiting Metro Arts for the first time or want to brush up on your knowledge take a look at the info below!

 

GETTING HERE

Metro Arts is located within West Village at 111 Boundary Street, West End 4101.

Transport: There are bus stops all around West End, with the closest servicing the 199, 198, 196, 192 and 60 bus routes. We are also located within a short fifteen minute walk from the South Brisbane train station and Cultural Centre busway. Visit the Translink website to plan your best route.

Parking: There is on street parking available, and secure parking located at 10 Browning Street, West End.

Metro Arts supports the Companion Card program. For patrons who require the assistance of a companion or carer, a second ticket is issued at no cost to the Companion Card holder. Please phone Metro Arts during business hours to organise. 

 

TICKETED SHOWS

Tickets are available online, over the phone (during business hours 10am – 4pm weekdays) and at the box office and bar one hour prior to the event (availability permitting). Search What’s On to see what tickets are currently on sale. 

Ticket Types: Metro Arts seating is General Admission unless otherwise stated. Concession tickets are available for children under 10 years of age, full-time students, seniors and pensioners. Concession cards and ID must be shown when entering the theatre. 

Arrival Time: Metro Arts is located in the busy suburb of West End, and there are often multiple events happening in the area which may affect travel time and parking availability. We recommend you arrive 30 minutes early so you can relax, grab a drink and make your way into the theatre when doors open. If you are late to a performance, you will be admitted at a suitable break in the performance, when permitted. 

Your Tickets: You do not need to print out your tickets. Once doors to the theatre open, please have your digital ticket (on a mobile device) ready for scanning by our Front of House team, or provide your name (and proof of ID). For any queries or to purchase tickets at the door, Box Office is open one hour prior to the event starting time, located at the Metro Arts Bar.

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

We take the safety of our patrons, staff and artists seriously.

Metro Arts is operating in line with current Queensland Government guidelines and the Stage QLD CovidSafe Industry Plan. Please review our updated Terms and Conditions prior to purchasing tickets. If you are unwell, please refrain from attending events at Metro Arts.

Please note, allocated seats will be provided to your ticket purchase group, and social distancing measures will be enforced between ticket purchase groups.

Upon entering the Venue and taking your seats you will be asked to scan a QR Code and enter your details (full name, mobile, email and residential address) into the Guest HQ website.
