Chris Jones –  Editor, The Courier-Mail

Chris Jones began his career at The Courier-Mail, rising to become managing editor of couriermail.com.au and deputy editor of The Courier-Mail and The Sunday-Mail, before being appointed editor of The Mercury in Tasmania in 2017. In his 21-year career with News Corporation, he has also covered state and federal politics as a reporter, been the head of news for The Courier-Mail and Sunday Mail, and edited the Brisbane afternoon commuter newspaper.

Darren Wick –  National Director of News and Current Affairs

Darren Wick was appointed Director of News and Current Affairs in February 2012. He has been with the Nine Network for 23 years, and was Sydney News Director prior to his national appointment. His other roles over that period have included Executive Producer on A Current Affair and Today Show. Prior to joining Nine, he began his career at News Ltd as a journalist on The Daily Mirror followed by a stint in the UK working in television news and current affairs at Worldwide Television News.

Stephanie Paul – Managing Director –  Phillips Group

Over the past thirty years, Stephanie has positioned Phillips Group as a thought leader in the communication industry. Stephanie Paul’s  leadership of client teams and results achieved has been acknowledged internationally and nationally for setting industry benchmarks. Stephanie has held a number of directorships of various organisations including being appointed Global Chair of Worldcom Public Relations Group Inc with more than 120 offices worldwide.

Genevieve Hussey – Former Head of State Coverage and Operations – ABC

Genevieve Hussey recently retired after 30 years with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. She was Head of State Coverage and Operations, managing the editorial and operational staff in the ABC’s capital city newsrooms across the country. Prior to that she was State Editor in Queensland and the Northern Territory, running cross platform output in those states. Genevieve spent 13 years working as a current affairs reporter for 730. She also presented the Stateline program and The 730 Report, NT when it was a state based program.
