Where We Meet

Eve Klein is a composer, vocalist, and music technologist known for creating ground-breaking immersive music experiences for mass audiences. She draws together classical music, electronica, and interactive performance to push genre boundaries and invite audiences to discuss real-world social issues. Importantly, she creates artwork collaborating with community groups, festivals, researchers, and NGOs to achieve community transformation goals. Recent projects she has created explored gendered and racial violence, climate change, disaster recovery, and refugee rights.

Taitu’uga KITCH Wesche, a Samoan High talking Chief (Village of Sapunaoa Falealili Aiga Manusamoa) is a strong cultural creative songwriter, musician, actor and performer. Over the past seventeen years, KITCH has performed in the music, arts and entertainment industry, across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Canada as a live beatbox, performer or MC. Strong in Samoan language, KITCH weaves cultural stories, neuroscience, mythological story telling utilising a fresh fusion of electronic dance music (EDM) hip hop, beatbox loop machine and traditional instruments.

Aleea is a Lebanese Australian artist and community theatre practitioner from Brisbane, Queensland. She is passionate about the power of theatre and the arts as an agent for change and being able to engage with people from all walks of life. She is personally inspired to engage with the stories of communities, and in particular those whose stories have been marginalised, in theatre and art. Her credits include co-creating and directing The Time is Now (La Boite 2021), co-directing The Neighbourhood (La Boite 2020), collaborating on Culture of Death (Metro Arts 2018), and directing, producing, and editing Remembering Palestine (Brisbane and Bankstown Art Centre 2017).

Milly is a Meanjin/Brisbane based independent producer, director, and stage manager. As a company co-director, Milly has produced, directed, and written for her independent theatre company Chance Collective since 2017. In 2021, Milly was an associate producer for Metro Arts as part of the Ian Potter Emerging Producer Xchange program, and stage managed a range of independent productions. In 2022, Milly was an assistant stage manager for A Midnight Visit (Brisbane tour) and is now working with Counterpilot as an associate producer.
