WHAT CAN PARTICIPANTS EXPECT FROM THE WORKSHOP/CLASS?
KIM SMIT (KS): A high-energy and exciting class where you will learn the fundamentals of dancing in a commercial heel and learn one of my iconic heels routines.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF AS A PERFORMER/CREATIVE?
KS: Street dance bred with a strong passion for the commercial realm of dance.
WHO IS YOUR BIGGEST INSPIRATION AND WHY?
KS: Too many to name! My biggest inspirations have come from moments throughout my career for different reasons. To name a few people – Jennifer Lopez, Jojo Gomez, my peers, and my students!
WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED FOR AS PART OF DANCE24?
KS: To bring an exciting, new, fresh event to the Brisbane dance scene.
HOW DID YOU DISCOVER YOUR LOVE FOR DANCE?
KS: The moment I watched my best friend perform in her dance concert when I was 10!
